Notice of Intent Requirements
The following persons will be engaged in mining upon the mining claim known as; The Big Bar Placer, on the North Fork of the Salmon River. The method of mining will be by suction dredging. The size if the intake of this dredge will be 6 inches and it is powered by an 18 HP gasoline engine.

The claim is located in NW & NE 1/4 of section 23 T10N R12E Mount Diablo Meridian approximately 9 miles up the North Fork of the Salmon River from the Forks of Salmon.
The area to be suction dredged is approximately 1/4 mile of river. Depth of gravels vary from very shallow to 15 feet.
The start date is July 15, 2009. The duration of activities will be until September 1st, 2009.
Operators will be staying in a "self contained" camper mounted upon a 1995 Ford pickup truck and also a couple of small tents.
No vegetation will be removed.
No more than 40 gallons of fuel will be stored on property. All fuel containers will be stored in the back of a pick up truck.
