A CUSTOMERS' EXPERIENCE...

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to tell you that I am home safe and sound.  I spent a total of 12 days on the claim. I haven't gotten everything off the camera yet, but here is just a taste of some of the photos.

By the way, with 3 days left to dredge, I decided to head right in the hole (towards the bank) instead of left (towards the middle of the river).  Two days before I left I hit a small crack.  I picked at it with the little chisel and pulled out some small nuggets.  The decaying granite fell apart easily and I was not convinced I was at the absolute hardest bottom of the bedrock, so I took the big pry bar to it and smashed the *&%#^$ out of it.  The crack turned into a basketball sized pothole in the bedrock and eventually turned into solid rock.  I pulled 3.60 ounces out of that little hole.  One very nice sized nugget, but that hole was literally filled with gold.  The cleanup that night was incredible!

Much more later, and I've got some underwater pictures being developed as well that show the crack and pothole in the bedrock.
