The Short Mine (quartz)
Located here, on Trail Creek, a tributary to the South Fork of the Salmon River. Developments consisted of a 100 ft. shaft and a 140 ft. tunnel; The vein showed an average width of about 18 inches.
The Short Mine (placer)
Located here, on Trail Creek, a tributary to the South Fork of the Salmon River. The creek was worked for its placer.
