This mining claim is located on the South Fork of the Salmon River apprx. 43 miles SW of Callahan at apprx. 2,888 ft. in elevation. From Callahan take the Callahan-Cecilville Road turnoff, (Forest road / Hwy 93,). Follow this paved forest river road for apprx. 43-miles to the claim. There are no gas stations within apprx. 50 miles of the property so be sure to fill up beforehand. There are no other commercial establishments, ATMs, etc.. Cellular service is spotty. Public phones (calling card or collect only) are available in Ceicilville & at the Forks of Salmon. Coming in from Etna along the North Fork is a great option too. Etna is a sweet little town with all accommodations. Follow the North Fork Salmon River through Sawyers Bar to the Forks of Salmon. Head SE along the South Fork for about 4-miles to the claim.
